Sydney Harbor

I had a beautiful walk on my first morning in Sydney. I’m staying in Potts Point area which is comfortable, feels like a mix of old and trendy new spots.  It’s a quick 15 minutes to the entry of the Botanical Gardens. Beautiful and open and interesting, lots to learn if you like, I just enjoyed the views and the cool sunshine.  It winds towards the Opera House and Sydney Harbor. I love this city, and it’s just expanding my love of Australia generally.

Aussies are comfortable, funny, approachable and helpful. I wandered into The Rocks area but the windy weather had the outdoor market closed that Sunday.  I’d come back here and stay for sure, especially this time of year, I guess it’s getting to be Spring in September, I’d love to see it again.
